Youth Village

The Vision is to show the love of Jesus Christ, by providing a village focused on the needs of our young people living in Baltimore. We will build a Human Services center, Sports center, Arts and Entertainment center, Athletic field, Greenhouse and Banquet hall.

We will raise $1millions as seed money to build our administrative infrastructure and purchase land in the city. This will be an “eco” friendly project.

Who will we serve?

We will serve youth and young adults ages 12-24 living in Baltimore city.

Human Services Center will offer: 

•    Mentoring
• Education enhancement services with  focus on science, technology, engineering, math reading and entrepreneurship (mandatory for school age youth)
• Counseling
• Conflict Resolution
• Mediation
• Health Clinic
• Job training and placement
•  Leadership Development
• Advocacy

Sports Center:

•  Multiple basketball courts, which can also serve as volleyball courts
• Boxing ring
• Olympic size pool
• Indoor lap track
• Rock climbing wall
• Breakout rooms
•  Martial Arts
• Refreshment area

Entertainment Center

• Inter-active video game salons
•   Bowling Alley
• Video game programming
• Recording Studio
• Chess Salons

Arts Center

Athletic Field

• Track and field
•  Baseball
•  Soccer
•  Basketball

Greenhouse (income generating)

Banquet Hall (income generating)

• Culinary training lab
• Serviced by our youth
•  Café’
• Open to the public for rental

Transportation

We will obtain the necessary vehicles to transport our youth to the Village.

There will be a fee free membership requirement. All youth will be required to participate in a Human Services component. There will also be a youth led governing council.

Last but not least we will create jobs for our community.
